Mr. Herbert Frierson

Herbert Frierson, affectionately known as “Boe” was born on July 18, 1947 in Bishopville, South Carolina to the Late Deacon Isaiah and Deaconess Rosa Lee (Mickens) Frierson. He departed this earthly journey on Friday, November 18, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland.

“Boe” was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Isiah, Jr.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are his loving wife Barbara Ann (Wilson) Frierson; two daughters, Ebony (Gregory) Javis and Errin (Charles) Lloyd, both of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren, Kierra, Imani, Paris and Tristan; three sisters, Rosa Mae Wilson, and Gloria Scott, both of Bishopville, SC and Mary Ryan of Saginaw, MI; three brothers, Julious (Lorraine) Frierson of Sumter, SC, Leroy (Carrie) Frierson and John Frierson, both of Bishopville, SC; mother-in-law, Mrs. Geneva Wilson of Bishopville, SC; three brothers-in-law, Lewis Wilson (Sylvia) of Aberdeen, SC, Garrett (Patricia)  Wilson of Bishopville, SC and Erik Wilson of Decatur, GA; two sisters-in-law, Patricia (John) York of Bishopville, SC and Joyce (William) Teneyek of Dalzell, SC; a special god son, Tracy Johnson of Philadelphia, PA; a host of nieces and nephews, whom he had a hand in raising; other relatives and friends that blessed his life and will truly miss his presence.
