Mrs. Kathy Jones Pedersen

Kathy Jones Pedersen, 68, of Prosperity, SC, went to her heavenly home on July 31, 2019 were she was reunited with her loved ones waiting for her there.

Kathy was born on February 5, 1951. Kathy graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, SC.  After a successful career, Kathy retired from Mercury Supply Inc. in Nashville, TN.  After retirement, Robert and Kathy moved to their lake home on Lake Murray in Prosperity, SC where she enjoyed reading, canning gardening and water activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gardner Colley Jones and Emma Lee Porter Jones; her beloved son, Jason Pedersen; brothers, James Jones and  Thomas Jones.

Survivors include her true love, husband, Robert Pedersen; her loving daughter, Sharon (Josh) Poole of Springfield, TN; son-in-law, Wayne Chandler of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Michael and Alan Poole; sisters, Claudia Thompson (Rutledge) of Conway, SC, Virginia Brown of Whiteville, NC and Lenora “Linda” (Delwood) Parsons of Heminway, SC; sister-in-law, Ruby, Pederson Bowen of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
