Mr. Andrew Hingleton

Andrew Hingleton peacefully transitioned from his earthly journey to his heavenly home on April 15, 2018. He was born on August 5, 1939, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Andrew and Esmer Hingleton.

Andrew was employed with Owens Steels, as a steel worker for 20 years.

Andrew was a hilarious, dignified, strong and loving man, with a heart made of gold. Andrew loved his family. He was the rock of the family, loved and respected by all. Through sickness and pain, he never complained. He will truly be missed.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Esmer Hingleton; his loving wife, Geraldine Hingleton; and one daughter, Deborah Ann Hingleton.

Andrew leaves to cherish his fond and precious memories to his five children, I’netha (Terry) Hingleton-Treish, Rachel Hingleton, Andrew Hingleton, Mingo Hingleton, and Andre (Bridgette) Hingleton; thirteen grandchildren, Chakea Hingleton, Vernon Bookard, Kurel Bookard, Adrain Hingleton, Kimesha Hingleton, Christopher Hingleton, Destinee Williams, Tavion Hingleton, Aniqua Hingleton, Laquisha Hingleton, Gerald Hingleton, Andrew Hingleton, and Reginald Hingleton; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
