Master Joshua “Kobe” Caleb Jabez Thomas was born on March 5, 2008 in Lancaster, South Carolina. On May 23, 2018 he peacefully transitioned from this earthly journey to his heavenly home.
Joshua was educated in Richland County School District Two at Killian Elementary, where he was enrolled in the third grade.
Joshua was a member of St. James Deliverance Pentecostal Assembly where Bishop Maude Albert is Senior Pastor and Pastors MacArther and Mouadee Day are the pastors. He loved to praise the Lord and he loved his church.
Joshua dedicated his life to everyone he met. He was loved by many and adored for his affectionate smile. He was very active with his “Village”, which consisted of his church, school, family, counseling agents, and the community in which he lived.
Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie Lee Blyther and paternal grandmother, Beurtha Mae Thomas.
Those left to cherish the fond memories of Joshua are his loving parents, Edward and Derica Thomas; four brothers, Samuel David Micah Thomas, Aiden Moses Porcher, Kevin (Baseemah) Frieman, and Christian (Sarah) Jett; two sisters, Natasha (Adrienne) Harry-Chaplin, and Shekinah (Pernell) Johnson; maternal grandmother, Annie Blyther; two aunts, Jocelyn (Russell) Daniels, and Eurtha (Ausbern) Young; one uncle, Woodrow Thomas; God-parents, Antonio and Tiffney McDuffie; a best friend, Luke Brown; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
