Pastor Stanley Lamar Davis, Sr., a humble and faithful servant of God, was born on September 28, 1965, to the late Charlie O. Davis and Delores Greene. On November 17, 2025, he peacefully transitioned from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
Stanley lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and a deep love for both God and family. He dedicated himself to serving others with grace, gentleness, and steadfast faith, leaving a legacy that will live on in the countless lives he touched.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of thirty-five years, Renee W. Davis; his children, Stanley L. Davis, Jr. (Alison), Hannah E. Davis, and Joshua N. Davis; and his precious grandchildren, Amiyah and Roman, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his loving mother, Ms. Dolores Green, and stepfather, Harold Green, Sr.
He is further survived by his father-in-law, Robert Wright (Minnie), by his brothers, Harold (Andrea) Green and Edwin Green, and by his stepsister Shenitha (Marcus)Shiver. His cherished nieces, nephews, extended relatives, church family, and many dear friends will forever remember his kindness, steady presence, gentle wisdom, and unwavering faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, the late Charlie O. Davis, Sr., and his brother, the late Charles Davis, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at First Northeast Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
