Tamra Anita Johnson McDuffie was born on December 11, 1958, in Columbia, SC to the late Walter Lee and Bessie Johnson. She departed this earthly journey on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 4:24 am.
Tamra is a graduate of W.J. Keenan High School Class of 1976. Tamra was employed in many different fields but her favorite memories were with the South Carolina Department of Corrections and lastly as a school bus driver for the Lexington County School District.
“Born with skill,” Tamra used her exceptional spiritual gifts and prophetic wisdom to advocate on behalf of all those she knew and those she divinely came into connection with. Prophetess Tamra served in the sanctuary and the surrounding neighborhoods. She never demonstrated fear of the world instead she walked boldly in spirit and chose to remain authentic to herself which in service to God. Tamra’s zest for life and adventure showed in her ministry of love which made everyone feel welcomed.
In addition to her parents, Tamra was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew McDuffie.
Tamra leaves to cherish memories to her two daughters, Chasity Johnson and Audreya Cornelius; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Londyn Cornelius; two sisters, Sharon Guest and Jackie Nelson; one brother Walter “Buleh” Johnson; and a host family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
