Tameika Rosheena Gordon was born on July 28, 1979 to Gwendolyn V. Gordon and Jerold L. Poston. She answered the call to take residence in her heavenly home on Monday, June 1, 2020.
Tameika was educated in the public schools of Richland County and graduated from W.J. Keenan High School as a proud Raider.
At an early age, Tameika was baptized and attended New Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Tameika was an independent certified bartender by trade and it was her passion. She really enjoyed being a part of people’s celebrations. Tameika proudly dedicated her life to her mother and son.
Tameika was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Milton and Gloria Gordon; and her aunt, Veronica Gordon.
Tameika leaves to cherish her memory, her precious and only son, Mikelle Gordon; loving mother, Gwendolyn Gordon; father, Jerold Poston; brothers, Antwain Poston of Baton Rouge, LA; Ashley Poston of Shelby, NC, Jerold Poston, Jr. of Kansas City, MO, Gerald Oliver of Memphis, TN, and Jeremy Poston of St. Louis, MO; aunts and uncles, Donald Gordon, Gail Jefferson, Anthony (Jackie) Gordon, and Frederick Gordon; two great aunts, Wilhelmenia Gordon and Edith Miller; five bonus aunts; her chosen family, Sebrina (Leland) Mayo-Johnson, Kimberly Shell, Fanta (Abraim) Coleman, Shawan Porterfield, Jennifer Williams, and Anya Weston; and a host of other loving family and friends whom all will miss her dearly.
