Ms. Lisa Marie McKnight

Lisa Marie McKnight was born on December 14, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York to Richard Lee and Pearline McKnight. She was the oldest grand of the McKnight family and she was also the older sister/ "second mom" to Kimberly McKnight. She spent most of her childhood in Eastover, South Carolina under the care of her Grandmother Molly, Aunt Zenobia, and Aunt Mildred.

Lisa was a graduate of Clara Barton High School Class of 1983. Shortly after graduating she attended Kingsborough Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree and started her career in Dentistry as a Dental Assistant at Brookdale Hospital.

Years later she relocated to Columbia, South Carolina with her daughter Ashley. She continued her career in Dentistry as a Clinical Dental Supervisor at A Brighter Smile for 18 years. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching basketball - Go Tarheels!

Lisa leaves to cherish memories her loving daughter, Ashley Boyd; parents, Richard Lee and Pearline McKnight;  her sister, Kimberly McKnight-Bowens; her brother-in-law, Rodney Moses Bowens; her brother-in-love, Rodney Boyd; her niece, TaLiyah McKnight; her nephew, Tyrell McKnight; her aunts,   Zenobia Clarkson and Gracie Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
