Krystal Nicole Boyd was born on March 24, 1983 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Ivory Hall and Ronald Boyd, Sr. She quietly and peacefully transitioned on Sunday,
October 13, 2024.
Krystal was educated in the public school system of Richland County District 2. She was a graduate of Spring Valley High School, Class of 2001. After graduating from high school, she
went on to work for the Loving Care Home Health team. She was employed there for nearly 10 years, as an Administrative Assistant. Krystal recently decided to pursue her passion and was
enrolled at Stratford Career Institute. There she was studying to become a professional photographer.
Krystal enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, as that afforded more time to spend with family. The love she had for her nieces and nephews was unmeasurable. No matter the sporting event or school activity, she would be found supporting them. Krystal’s smile that was sure to light up a room will be missed. Her infamous greeting
when entering a room filled with her best girl-friends, “Hey Miss Girl!” will resonate in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved her.
Krystal was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Boyd, Sr. and her great grandfather, Dozier Payne.
Krystal leaves to cherish memories with her parents, Ivory Hall and Ronald Boyd, Sr.; her siblings, Victoria Boyd, Ronald Boyd, Jr., and Jeremy (India) Boyd; her grandparents, Christine Hall, James Hall, Sr., and Dorothy Mae Boyd; great grandmother, Ida Mae Payne; nieces, Harmoni Rush, Mariyah Boyd, Heaven Boyd, ad Savannah Boyd; nephews, Thaddius Rush and Keon Caldwell; a great-niece and goddaughter, Ahlani Ellis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
