Ms. Kim Jeffers

Kim Jeffers was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 10, 1959 to the late Ivan Jeffers and Elsie Johnson. Kim was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in Columbia, South Carolina. 

Kim graduated from Wingate High School in Brooklyn, New York. Kim later attended to Baruch College where she studied Business Administration. She also was certified in secretarial science. In 1985, Kim relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. She was employed by Rite-Aid, Revco, and CVS as a pharmacy technician. She also worked at Flying J as a cashier/waitress until she became disabled.

Kim enjoyed being around her family.  She was the life of the party; always laughing, dancing, and having good time.  She brought a smile to anyone she would meet.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her two children, Latoya A. Jeffers and William K. Jeffers; brother, Reuben White; sister, Angela Carter; and aunt, Lorraine Williams. 

Kim leaves to cherish her precious memory: her loving daughter, Tavia L. Jeffers of Columbia, SC; one sister, Cheryl Morris of Charleston, WV; three grandchildren, Denae Miller, Nykia Miller, and Zaylen Jeffers; and host of loving relatives and dear friends who will miss her dearly
