Ms. Katrina Pearson

Ms. Katrina Leach Pearson was the born to Mrs. Roslyn Simmons and Mr. William Townsend. on November 24, 1968 in Lumberton, North Carolina. She departed this life on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Columbia, South Carolina.

“Trina”, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Limestone College. Trina was a dedicated employee of HireRight at the time of her passing.

Trina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. All would agree that she was a confidant to many, extremely dependable, with an amazing sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room. Although absent from the body, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts of all who loved and knew her.

Trina is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Sarah Leach; and her paternal grandparents, WJ and Willie Mae Townsend.

Those who will cherish fond and precious memories of Katrina are her loving parents, Roslyn and Willie Simmons of Lugoff, S.C.; four loving children, Mr. Maurice A. Leach, Mr. Russell “Brandon” Belton, Ms. Raven J. Pearson and Ms. Trinity J. Pearson all of Columbia, S.C; her soulmate of the last 13 years, Mr. Stanley Vinson of Columbia, S.C; her siblings, Mr. Donald Leach (Lakieba) of Columbia, S.C., Trinette Melton, Harrelson Melton, and Willie Simmons, III (Brittani), Jovan Washington of Ridgeway, SC and Christopher Coleman of Fairmont, NC; five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
