Ms. Karen Valentine Obituary

Karen Valentine was born into this world on November 6, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. Karen was the third of three children born to the union of Creola Bernice Johnson and Paul Robert Valentine Sr.

Karen resided in Chicago until she moved to Minneapolis, MN in her early adult years where she continued her education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State University on May 2, 2011. After living in Minnesota for most of her adult life, she moved to Columbia, SC until her sunset on November 10, 2020.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Paul Robert Valentine Sr. and mother, Creola Bernice Valentine.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Tamika and Monique Valentine, and Cinnamon Brown; a son, Gregory Jerome Brown Jr.; a brother, Paul Robert Valentine Jr. (Angela), of Chicago, Illinois; a sister, Colleen Valentine, of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren, Nasir Barnes, Samaiya Brown, Cameron and Jasmine Valentine; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
