Ms. Dorene Y. Larsen

Dorene Yvette Larsen was born on July 27, 1958 to the late Austin and Hattie Mae Larsen. She departed this life on November 25, 2020 at the age of 62.

Dorene, affectionately known as “Doll”, attended Brandeis High School in Manhatten, New York. She later moved to Columbia, South Carolina and attended W.J. Keenan High School and graduated from Dreher High School. She established a career as a home healthcare provider and enjoyed taking care of the elderly. In her quiet time, she loved to listen to music and relax and cook. Dorene was a loving mother who cared and provided for her son, Stanley.

In addition to her parents, Dorene was preceded in death by her two sisters, Susan Larsen and Rita Larsen-Lewis.

Dorene leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Stanley Richardson; sisters, Kathy Willabee and Wanda Larsen; brothers, Malcum Larsen and Mark (Elizabeth) Larsen; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
