Crystal Yvette Palmer Bookhart was born in Columbia, South Carolina on December 27, 1987.She was the daughter of Cassandra Burroughs and the late Arnold Palmer. She departed this life on
October 23. 2024, at the age of 36 years old.
Crystal was educated in Richland School District Two and graduated from Blythewood High School, Blythewood, South Carolina in 2006. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at
an early age. She was baptized and raised in Oak Grove Baptist Church, Elgin, South Carolina; which is where she later became a member.
Crystal was employed with Empire Today until her untimely passing. She loved life and was described as loyal, funny, kind-hearted, independent and very out-going. She enjoyed spending
time with family and friends, making memories. Crystal also enjoyed a hot piece of fish and some crab legs.
Crystal had a very strong love for her children which she affectionately called “First Love”, “Baby Girl” and “Sunshine”. She was a little jealous when it came to her mother. Crystal cherished a special bond and moments with her grandmother, the late Mrs. Laverne Counts-Burroughs.
Crystal leaves to cherish precious memories with her three children, Camiah Gordon, Camorah Foulks and Craig “CJ” Foulks; her loving mother, Cassandra Burroughs; her step-parents, William (Mona) Hipps and Ida Della Robertson Palmer; grandparents, Irie John Burroughs, George Wilson and Dorothy Palmer Wilson, Frank (Sallie) Canzater, Sr.; her siblings, Arnold Palmer, Jr., Orlando Givens, Victoria Palmer and Zenobia Hipps; a very special friend Kewon Perry; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who miss her dearly and
cherish her sweet memories.
