Ms. Clementine Mickle

Clementine Mickle was born on December 11, 1943 in Blythewood, South Carolina to the late Wardell and Minerva Pinckney Mickle.  She departed this earthly life on January 5, 2019.

Clementine was educated in the public schools of Richland County and was a 1962 graduate of Bethel High School. 

“Cleme”, as she was affectionately called, was a person that loved to clean.  Being an avid cleaner directed her to establish her career in that industry.  She worked for the State Hospital as a dining room attendant for several years.

In addition to her parents, Cleme was preceded in death by her five siblings: Robert, Blannie, Louise, Wardell Jr., and Mildred Mickle.

Clementine leaves to cherish her precious memory to her loving sisters, Christine Mickle Myers of Hopkins, SC and Mrs. Carrie (Kirby) Irick of Columbia, SC; a great friend and neighbor, Mike Griffin of Blythewood, SC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
