Anissa Yolanda Anderson was born on October 31, 1968, to Rosa Lawrence Jenkins and the late Lennon Ray Smith, Sr. in New Haven, Connecticut. She departed this life on August 28,2024, at
Prisma Health Heart Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
Anissa was a proud graduate of Macedonia High School, Class of 1986. Upon completing her education, she entered the workforce.
Anissa cherished her relationship with Christ. She was a member of New St. Thomas RE Church where she was a member of the choir and often provided meals for community members and
local establishments. Anissa married twice and was blessed with three daughters.
Anissa was preceded in death by her father, Lennon Ray Smith, Sr.
Anissa leaves to cherish her memories her three daughters, Leah Anderson, Megan Anderson, and Kymara James; eight grandchildren; mother, Rosa Lawrence Jenkins; two siblings, Lennon
Lamont (Lanita) Smith and Felicia (Charles) Goodwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
