Mrs. Sjanna Johnson

Sjanna Yvette Johnson, 58, of West Columbia, South Carolina, was born on September 4, 1966, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Grace and Billy Goodwine. Sjanna passed away on March 29, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center.

Sjanna was a registered nurse for over 20 years, where she was most dedicated to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). For many people, on and off duty, she was their savior and guardian angel. She was a symbol of dedication, compassion, and boundless warmth. 

Sjanna’s two most favorite past-times, were shopping and gardening. No matter how difficult or dark the roads ahead became, she always shed light towards a hopeful path. Not a single number can measure how many hearts she has touched and how deeply every single one of them loved her unconditionally. Her love will be carried forward.

Sjanna was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Goodwine and her father, Billy Goodwine.

Sjanna is survived by her husband, Samuel Johnson; her children, Yolanda Guinyard, Marque Nesbit, Courtné Guinyard, Samuel Guinyard, and Kaitlyn Guinyard; her grandchildren, Nicholas Guinyard, Joshua Guinyard, Cayden Guinyard, Kaleb Guinyard, Dereon Nesbit, Zaynah Nesbit, Landon Robinson, Aries Nesbit, Amoria Sims, and Tre’Vareous Dixon; and a host of other relatives and many close friends.
