Mrs. Pamela Frazier-Dixon Obituary

With hearts filled with love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we celebrate the beautiful spirit of Pamela Frazier-Dixon, affectionately known as Pam. Born on August 27, 1970, to the late Eddie Frazier, Sr., and Brazillie H. Holmes, Pam departed this life on March 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Pam was a beacon of light to all who knew her, always wearing a warm smile and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Her compassionate nature was evident in every aspect of her life, as she tirelessly served others with grace and humility. She deeply loved and cherished her husband, Mark Tyrone Dixon, and their beloved daughter, SR Precillya Marquisha Dixon (Danielle), whom she affectionately called her “Sunshine.” Pam was also a devoted mother to her bonus son, Jarvis Mitchell, embracing him with the same unconditional love.

A proud graduate of Bishopville High School, Class of 1988, Pam later pursued her passion for caring for others by studying nursing at Midlands Technical College. She dedicated her career to serving geriatric patients in both public and private healthcare settings, often being the one her colleagues called upon for the most challenging cases. Pam’s soothing voice, gentle spirit, and nurturing heart made her a true angel on earth to those in her care.

Her grandfather, the late Henry McDaniels, would often joke about stealing her from her husband, a testament to the infectious joy she brought into every room. She was a woman of deep faith and immense love, always extending herself beyond measure to uplift those around her.

Pam leaves behind a host of cherished family members, including her devoted husband, Mark Tyrone Dixon; her beloved daughter, Precillya Marquisha Dixon (Danielle); her bonus son, Jarvis Mitchell; her father, Joseph (Preacher) Holmes, her parents-in-law, Drs. Lucious and Thelma Dixon; her sister, Vanessa Sumpter (James); her brother, Eddie Frazier, Jr. (Kimberly); her brother-in-law, Lucious Dixon (Teresa); her sister-in-law, Dr. Victoria Dixon-Mokeba (Samuel); her aunts, Georgia Jones of Cayce, Mary Lou Holloman, Elizabeth Frazier, Shirley Frazier, Louella Bridges all of Bishopville, Katie Bowen of Charlotte, NC, Winnie Mae Wilson and Bertie Champagne of Charleston; uncles; Clayton Dixon (Gwen of Irmo and David Frazier (Ella) her great-aunts, Berthelma Jeffcoat of Columbia, Emma James and Bertha Frazier, both of Sumter, and Bertha Frazier of Duluth, Georgia; her nephews, Natondi Mokeba, Decius & Deion Sumpter, and Joshua Frazier; her nieces, Latoya Dixon-Smith (Lee) of Greenville, SC, and Phoebe Frazier of Columbia; her great-nephew, Kent Smith; her great-niece, Liana Smith; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Her kindness, selflessness, and radiant smile will never be forgotten. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains with us, guiding and comforting us as we remember the love she so freely gave.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Rest in peace, dear Pam. You have earned your heavenly reward.
