Doris A. Johnson Davis, affectionately known as Ann, was born on August 12, 1951, to the late Nebraska Johnson Sr., and Doris E. Evans Johnson. Ann was called from labor to reward on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Being reared in a Christian home, Doris decided to choose Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She became a member of Old Wilson Baptist Church. She worked at Springs (Eureka Mills) in Chester, SC, Springs in Columbia, SC, Babcock Disability Rehab in Columbia, SC, and most recently for Trinity Baptist Church for 9 years and apart of the Budd Group upon her passing.
Doris was a loveable and sweet person to be around. She loved her family. Her passion was flowers, fishing, and decorating her house. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a die-hard Steelers fan. We will remember Doris with a lifetime of memories that she left in our hearts.
Doris Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Nebraska Johnson, Sr. and Doris Evans Johnson; her first born, Christopher L. Johnson and James H. Johnson.
Doris leaves to cherish loving memories with; her devoted husband of 24 wonderful years, Roosevelt Davis; two loving and devoted children, Marcus Johnson and Meketa Hall; grandchildren, Marcus Lake, Shanequa Lake, John Wesley Boyce, III, and Nyesha Warren; one great grandchild, Jordan H. Lake; three brothers, Nebraska (Gwen) Johnson, Fredy (Betty) Johnson, and Willie Johnson; four sisters, Maggie Johnson, Pearline Morgan, Delores (Julius) Weldon, and Betty (Sean) Leake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
