Catherine Anne Perez Marquez
July 19, 1968 – February 24, 2025

Catherine Anne Perez Marquez, affectionately known as "Cathy" or "Cat," was born on July 19,
1968, and peacefully passed into eternal life on February 24, 2025, at the age of 56. Catherine
left this world in Columbia, South Carolina, although she was originally from Dededo, Guam.
Catherine was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Her kind heart, infectious smile,
and deep love for her family left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering devotion to those she loved, and her
ability to make every person she encountered feel special.
Catherine will be welcomed into the gates of heaven by her grandson, Hezikyah Jay Marquez
Sablan; her father, Jesus Pabalo Perez; stepfather, Tomas Tiru Enriquez; mother and father-in-
law, Francisco and Maria Marquez; and her godson, Jesse Joseph Perez.
Her spirit, love, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind,
including her devoted husband, Raphael Fejarang Marquez, and her children: Ryan Marquez,
Rachell Marquez (Dwayne Lastimoza), Renaechristyn Marquez (Brandon Sablan), Kyle
Marquez, and Noah Mendiola. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Koby, Ciara,
Marley, Irie, Dante, Khloe, Damon, Carter, Elijah, Micah, Ezrah, Jeriah, Kristianah-ann,
Camyah, and Brandon, Jr.
Catherine's loving mother, Lourdes Bayona Mesa Enriquez, and her siblings, Linda (Antonio)
Sablan, Jesse Perez, Columbina Perez, John Anderson, John (Kimberly) Perez, Bernadette
(Martin) Aldan, Rowena (Stephan) Darce, and Marylou Perez (Andrew Babauta and John Peter
Bernardo (Patty Quichocho)), will forever carry her memory.
She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews, including Raymon (Carmen) Perez,
Maylene (Michael) Kuzinski, Trista (Jesse) Castro, Robert (Aya) Perez, Anastasia Perez, Jessica
(Joey) Dyas, Janessa Nauta (Brandon Babauta), Jessilyn Nauta, Lola Flores (Allen Perez),
Josielynn Perez (Jeff Meno), Justin Perez, Joshua (Nadine Perez), Justine, John Jr., Jimmy, Jorga,
Jona, Jonnah, Jayden, Mercedes Aldan (Irad Johnny), Annalin Aldan (Jermaine Marley), Ronnie
Joe (Karli Ojeda), Edenalynn Odima, Elexis Oclima, Myra, Monique, Draven, Mialene, and
Myeisha.
Catherine is also survived by her loving in-laws, Antonio Marquez, Francisco (Elaine) Marquez,
John (Pam) Marquez, Severina (Howard) Gore, Louisa Marquez, Feliciano (Emily) Marquez,
Carlina Marquez, Ricardo Marquez, Dorothy Marquez, Pedro Marquez, Mario Marquez, and a
host of other beloved relatives who will miss her deeply.
Though Catherine has left this world, her love and memories will forever be cherished by her
family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire and
guide those who were fortunate to have known her.
