Mr. Willie Guider, Jr., affectionately known as Bill, was a warm and charismatic spirit that is loved and will be missed.
Mr. Willie Guider, Jr. was born on October 14, 1937 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was son of the late Willie Guider, Sr. and Cornelia Smith Guider. He peacefully transitioned to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
Mr. Guider was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina. He was self-employed for many years. Mr. Guider was a long-time member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Guider was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Guider Sr. and Mrs. Cornelia Smith Guider; his step-mother, Mrs. Bernice Guider; his sisters, Mrs. Carrie Thompson, Mrs. Henrietta Griffin and Mrs. Cora Lee Riley; and his brother, Mr. Wilbert Guider.
Mr. Willie Guider is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Guider (Efrem) Jennings and Mrs. Jacqueline Guider (Reginald) Harris, both of Irmo, SC; a brother-in-law, Mr. Emmanuel Griffin Sr. of Columbia, SC; three grandsons, Minister Travis Jennings of Orangeburg, SC, Mr. Caleb Harris of Spartanburg, SC, and Mr. Michael Harris of Irmo, SC; one granddaughter, Ms. Jessica Jennings of Chapin, SC; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of community members and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
