Mr. William Cornell Thompson

William Cornell Thompson was born on August 20, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri to Lillian Marie Bolds. The Bible states, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” William’s spirit entered Heaven on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

William attended Caldwell Parish High School in Columbia, Louisiana. He went on to establish his career as a Security Officer and Car Detailer and he thoroughly enjoyed both.

William embraced his role as the first son and big brother of his family. He took this role seriously and was a natural protector. He was a loving father with a heart of gold.

William leaves to cherish his loving memories his son, Tyrell C. Thompson of Columbia, SC mother, Lillian Marie Bolds of Columbia, SC; sisters, Veronica Wilson of Houston, TX, Elizabeth (Darrow) Thompson, and Regina Johnson of Columbia, SC; brother, Dewayne (Shaki) Johnson of Irmo, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
