Mr. Stanley Hair

Mr. Stanley Tyrone Hair was born on January 22, 1962, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Betty Jean Hair - Burton and the late Peter Broom. He was called home to rest on March 1, 2026, at his home. 

Stanley was educated in Richland County District One. He worked in construction for most of his young life. He was last employed by Belk Distribution Center in Blythewood, South Carolina.  Stanley was a faithful, loving and caring family man. He was always there when his family and friends needed him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Clara and Hiram Hair, one aunt, Linda D. White; two uncles, Johnny Hair and Melvin Hair; father and mother-in-law, Ree and Lucy Peay; and three brothers-in-law, Ree Peay Jr., Jimmy Lee Peay, and Timothy Brooker.

Those left to cherish Stanley's fond and precious memories are his wife, Velvet; one daughter, Viveca (Mesiha); two granddaughters, Alexus (Asad) and Brooklyn; two great-grandchildren, Jayceon and Nasir; one sister, Cynthia Hair; one brother, Hiram “Bobby” Hair; one uncle, Thomas Hair; one aunt, Shirley (Fredie) Spry; five sisters- in-law, Elosie (Landras) Hunter, Mattie (David) Samuel, Henrietta (Gilbert) Johnson, Judy Brooker, and Doranda (Carlo) Gary; one brother-in-law, James Peay all from Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
