Minister Roderick Allen Rhodes was born on January 13, 1972 in Hollywood, Florida. He departed this earthly journey on April 1, 2021 with his wife by his side at the age of 48.
Roderick and his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was 28 years old. He enrolled in truck driver training school and went on to have a successful career as a professional truck driver for 21 years.
Roderick met the love of his life, Felicia, in February of 2002 and they were married on March 8th of the same year. After they were married, Roderick and Felicia made Columbia, South Carolina their home.
Roderick and his wife became members of New Beginnings Christian Outreach Ministries where Apostle LeEunice O. Lorick is the pastor. Roderick accepted his call to the ministry under her instruction and was licensed on October 19, 2014. He was also a member of the Male Choir and the Men’s Ministry.
Roderick is survived by his wife of 18 years, Felicia P. Rhodes; two sons, Joshua and Jonathan Priest; mother, Janet Noel; one brother, Joshua Noel; one sister, Jessica Noel; one aunt, Debra (Harold) Mizell; one uncle, James Rhodes; mother-in-law, Lila Priest; father-in-law, Daniel Priest, Sr.; five brothers-in-law, Henry (Trythene) Priest, Daniel Priest, Jr., Kenneth (Jennifer) Priest, Thomas Priest, and Craig (Melanie) Priest; two sisters-in-law, Florine Lewis and Casey Priest; and a host of loving relatives and friend.
