Mr. Nathaniel Goodley, Sr.

Nathaniel Goodley, Sr. was born on January 20, 1964 in North, South Carolina to the late Beatrice Saylor Goodley and Alfred Goodly, Sr. Our Lord dispatched His angels to bring His beloved son to him on September 1, 2019 at the age of 55.

Nathaniel, affectionately known as “Nate”, was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. After graduating, he joined the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1983 to 1987.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Goodley, Sr.; his mother, Beatrice Saylor Goodley; sister, Sylvia Williams; brother, Nathan Goodley; and nephew, Glenn Antoine Zeigler.

He is survived by his son, Nathaniel (Alexis) Goodley, II; two daughters, Autumn Goodley and Labreshia Nelums; eight siblings, Thelma (Robert) Green, Mary Ann Green, Margaret Legree, Lavern (OJ) Harrison, Alfred (Blondie) Goodley, Jr., Darlene (Russell) Earle, Nelson (Tammy) Goodley, and Janice Davis; one granddaughter, Aniston Williams; two step-children, Kandi (Phillip) Freeman and Timothy (Gail) Fisher; one step-brother, James (Cynthia) Rowe; one step-sister, Annie Ruth (James) Thorpe; best friend, Sammie Williams; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
