Mr. Michael Antonio Brice was born December 14, 1993 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the eldest son of Tony Brice and the late Akwokwo Davis. He received the crown of life on Friday, September 6, 2019.
“Mikey,” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina and always rooted for his beloved C.A. Johnson.
Mikey was a loving, thoughtful, and caring person who loved people. He had an infectious smile and a kind word for everyone he met. He was a devoted son, father, and family man. He loved and believed in empowering his local community. He could always be found passing time cooking out with various family members and friends, reading to Elijah, or singing “Heaven” by Jamie Foxx to Mason. He also like to play Naruto and other games on one of his many game systems or reading any book he could get his hands on.
Mikey was preceded in death by his mother, Akwokwo “Koko” Davis and her twin, his aunt, Akwete “Kete” Davis-Smalls.
Those left to cherish warm and precious memories of Michael are his two sons, Elijah Kendrick and Mason Brice; father Tony Brice; his loving step-mother Tammy Brice; four loving sisters, LeAsia (Markell) Smith, Royalty (Lamar) Taylor, Tatiyanna Brice and Zy’Kia Weeks, one brother Berry Butler; paternal grandparents, Johnny (Vikki) Eadie and Pamela Brice Davis; maternal grandparents, Herbert Davis, Sr. and Barbara Richardson Davis; uncles, Rev. Ryan Brown and Herbert Davis II; aunts, Shuntay (Reggie) Avery, Stacy Brice, and Mildred Eadie; a niece, a nephew and a host of other family and friends.
