Mr. Maurice Andre McQueen

Maurice Andre McQueen was the son of James C. McQueen and Sandra M. McQueen. He was born October 16, 1974 in Greenville, South Carolina and departed this life on Friday, June 28, 2019.

Andre was a graduate of Irmo High School Class of 1992. He attended DeVry Institution of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. At an early age, Andre joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1218 Lyon Street in Columbia, South Carolina where he was a member of the Youth and Senior Choir. He was active in the Children's Church Ministry, President of the Youth Council and Superintendent of Vacation  Bible School for a number of years. 

Andre was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health, Fort Bragg, and at the time of his passing, Wells Fargo. Andre dedicated his life to his family, loved ones, church, and community. He lived life to its fullest and brought joy to all of those he came in contact with. 

Andre leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, James and Sandra McQueen, Columbia, SC: two great-aunts and two great-uncles, a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
