Dear Family,
I would like to extend my sincerest condolences and some words of comfort from God's Word, the Bible.
Our loving God and Creator Jehovah did not intend for us to die, so he promises to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (Psalms 83:18; John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15) Take comfort in knowing you will see Maurice again. I will also include you in my prayers.

I was sorry to learn of Andre's passing. He was one of my students when I taught at Irmo High School and I remember him as a very nice young man who got along with everyone. I will always remember him because he diffused a very volatile situation in my our classroom. RIP Andre.

Words cannot express the loss we feel at this moment. For the last 15 years you have been by my side as my sounding board, best friend, God-father to my children and even had a hand in getting me down the aisle. We have planned numerous events together and I can't even get on 26 without stopping by to say Hello. This one hurts, but I find comfort in knowing that you are in heaven rejoicing. What a time will be had at your celebration of life tomorrow. You made me give you my word that we would celebrate and I am keeping it.

Mr. and Mrs. McQueen, you all have my heart-felt condolences in the departure of your son and my friend. I met Andre some 24 years ago while attending USC and he always a joy to be around. He helped me navigate Columbia, not being used to traffic and the city. Andre always dreamed big and enjoyed life to the fullest. I was saddened and shocked to hear of his departure. As you go through this time of sorrow, remember that earth has no sorry that heaven cannot heal. Andre, my friend, rest in peace.........

I met Maurice when he was working at BCBSNC. He was a very caring and spiritual person. Those who met him, never forgot him. He was a joy to be around at work and outside of the office. Praying for the McQueen, we have lost a precious jewel. God makes no mistakes and we may not understand it, but one day we shall. Prayers and condolences to all that knew Maurice and loved him.
