Mr. Louis "Tim" T. Brown

Louis Timtony Brown, affectionately known as “Tim”, was born on December 28, 1973 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of Deborah Brown and the late Thomas Walker. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, in Columbia, South Carolina surrounded by his loving family.

Tim was educated in the public schools of Richland County School District I and was a graduate of C. A. Johnson High School Class of 1992. He was an awesome cook and was employed by Travinia Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar.

Tim attended Rehoboth United Church where he was a faithful member. He was also a member of the Masonic Brotherhood.

Tim was strong, God-fearing, and a hard-working man. He loved his family and remained loyal to his friends. He had a great sense of humor and always made those around him laugh. He always had a listening ear to anyone who wanted to talk. He was simply a pleasant person to be around. Those characteristics allowed Tim to become a father figure to many young people that he encountered. His presence will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Walker; maternal grandmother, Frances Williams; his brother, Emmitt Hart; and his son, Jalen Brown.

Tim is survived by his wife, Tonya Livingston Brown; three sisters, Tresha Walker, Tanyetta Brown, and Shametra Davis; one brother, Jamal Lawrence; god-children, Akeila Peay and Jayden Hutto; special cousins, Milton Brown and Dupree Brown; the entire Hutto Family; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and  friends whom all will miss him dearly.
