Mr. Louis Davis

Mr. Louis James Davis was born on September 2, 1964, to the late Louis Baxley and Flossie
Noble Davis. Louis passed away on February 13, 2025.
Louis, affectionately called “Pookie”, attended Carver Elementary School and graduated from
A.C. Flora High. Louis worked for Columbia Housing Authority for many years. He was also
self-employed as a contracted carpenter for thirty plus years. Louis enjoyed fishing and time with
his family. He was a member of Second Nazareth Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Rodester Davis, Jr.
Louis leaves to mourn his passing, his sister, Gloria Noble (Ernest) Boston; one nephew, LaTonie
Darnell Davis; a sister-in-law, Constance Jackson Davis; a brother-in-law, Benjamin Warley; two
aunts, Elise Brown and Sarah Glover; a devoted cousin, Pauline Noble; a special customer and
friend, Mae “Wifey” Golson and Suann Goodson; his dearest friends, Nakesha “Fluffy Darling”
Easterling, Shaquetta “Sugar Darling” Williams, and Alfredia “Panther” Chisolm; and a host of
other loving relatives and friends.
