Kyle Cooper, born on July 7, 1970, in Charlotte, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on
April 18, 2025. He was the beloved son of Anderson Green and the late Mary Lou Cooper, and
was raised in Kingstree, South Carolina.
Kyle was educated in the public school system of Kingstree, SC, and went on to further his
studies at Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC. His educational journey continued as he
completed specialized training in Trucking and Business Administration, preparing him for a
successful professional life.
A man of deep faith, Kyle accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at Union
Grace Church in Detroit, Michigan, where he faithfully served as an Armor Bearer. After
relocating to Columbia, South Carolina, he worshipped with his wife at Bible Way Church of
Atlas Road.
Kyle was the proud owner and operator of Nyahbinghi Trucking, a business he built and ran
successfully for 17 years. His work took him across the country, and he found great joy in
exploring new places, connecting with people, and appreciating the beauty of God's creation. In
2023, he concluded his trucking career and began a new chapter at Westinghouse in Columbia,
SC.
Kyle’s legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Tamika Cooper, and his beloved daughter, Nyah
“Nyahbinghi” Cooper. He is also lovingly remembered by his stepchildren: Stephanie Barden
(Charles), Margaret Brady (Marquise), and Caleb, as well as seven cherished grandchildren.
He leaves behind a host of family members who will miss him deeply: his sister Dajera Cooper;
Jerome (Susie) Cooper of Miami, FL; aunts Cerena McGee, Monica Cooper, Rebecca, and
Linda; uncles Cary Dupree, Stencil (Endia) White, Paul Green, and Joe Green. He is also
remembered fondly by numerous cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Kyle Cooper was a man of strength, integrity, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed
and forever remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with all
who knew him.
