Mr. Kenneth Kennebrew was born in Chicago Illinois on June 19th 1970. Kenneth departed this life on March 25th, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was the son of the late Mr. Usher Kennebrewand Mrs. Louella Kennebrew. Kenneth was educated in the Chicago Illinois school system where he attended Neal F. Simeon Vocational High School and graduated in June of 1988. Kenneth education continued at Central State University in Ohio. Kenneth worked a few years in the workforce and soon after entered the Military in 1994. His first duty station was Fort Hood Txand this is where he met and married the love of his life Kinsley Kennebrew and God granted them 29 years together.
After serving in the Military, Kenneth and his family moved to Bryan, Texas and eventually relocated to Columbia, SC. After a stint in the workforce Kenneth completed his college education at Strayer University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Kenneth never met a stranger. He loved his family, sports, and politics. Kenneth also loved giving God praise. Kenneth’s love of Christ began at St. Peter’s Temple of Love in Chicago Illinois and was cultivated during his attendance at Church’s Teaching Center, New Covenant Assembly Christian Ministry, and Grace Christian Church.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Usher Kennebrew, his mother Louella Kennebrew, brothers Willie Taylor and Sam Williams, and granddaughter Ivy Clark.
Kenneth leaves to cherish fond memories his wife Kinsley; two daughters, Marnisha Mitchell and Adriana Kennebrew of Columbia, SC; three sons, Dekendrick(Shawneithia) Mitchell of Columbia, SC, ZaQuinton(Kamiya) Kennebrew of Spartanburg, SC and Kendall Kennebrew of Gaston,SC; three grandchildren Londyn, Khori, and Koda whom he loved and adored. Two sisters Jacqueline Kennebrew of Columbia SC,andImogene Suttle of Gadsden,Al three brothers Johnny(Sandra )Kennebrew, Garry (Darlene) Kennebrew of Chicago, IL and Michael Williams of Columbia, SC; a brother in law James (Laquita) Mitchell of Gainesville, Tx; two sisters in law Beverly (Kessington) Ekhorutomwen of Fort Worth, Tx and Patricia Mitchell of Columbia, SC; two uncles John Kennebrew and Tom Kennebrew of Shorter,Al; a loving and caring mother in love Joyce Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
His presence will be missed by all that loved and cared for him.
