Mr. Julius Taylor

Julius Taylor, born on November 14, 1966, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Elizabeth Taylor and the late Matthew Fowler, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Affectionately known to family and friends as "Bay Bay" or "Red," Julius was a man of warmth and kindness. He received his early education at Waverly Elementary, Olympia Middle School, and A.C. Flora High School. Later in life, he achieved a significant personal milestone by completing the 27 Study Guides at Amazing Facts Bible School, earning his diploma on October 19, 2004.

Julius married his ex-wife, Robin Redfearn, and from their union, they were blessed with a daughter, Danielle Taylor, whom he lovingly called "Boo," and two stepsons, Kejuan(Duke) Gilyard and Godfrey Redfearn.

Julius leaves behind a loving family and many cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted mother, Elizabeth Taylor; his beloved daughter, Danielle Taylor; his two stepsons, Kejuan Gilyard (Duke) and Godfrey Redfearn; and four precious grandchildren, Christopher (C.J.) Ellison Jr., Da'Niyah Ellison, Da'Monté Ellison, Jayden Gilyard, and Ro'Von Ellison. He also leaves behind his siblings: Barbaretta (Bunkey) Taylor, Ronald (Papa) Taylor, Lecia Taylor, Harriet, Nita, and Trisha.

In addition to his immediate family, Julius is mourned by an extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his loving companion of many years, Patty Boyce, and his loyal pet Roxie.

Though Julius is no longer with us, his life, love, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
