Johnny Nathaniel Johnson landed in the arms of the Heavenly Father on June 24, 2020. He was born October 24, 1955 in Columbia, South Carolina. Johnny graduated from Eau High School. Johnny was humble, quiet and very creative. He had a warm smile, beautiful spirit and always looked at the bright side of every troubling circumstance. Johnny was self-employed and a published author of the book “God is SMART”. He was currently working on an invention.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence T. Hoard; brother, Elvis Taylor; and daughter, Nichole Smith.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories two children; daughter; Twaun (Frederick) Etheredge of Northeast, SC; son, Nancano Johnson of Columbia, SC; two granddaughters, Shanquel Johnson of Augusta, GA and Dionna Etheredge of Northeast, SC; two grandsons, Chauncy Johnson, and Frederick Etheredge, Jr both of Northeast, SC.; 7 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Lee Johnson, Zackary Johnson both of Columbia, SC, and André O. Johnson of Gaston, SC; two sisters, Evon Patterson of Columbia, SC and Veronica L. Hoard of Lexington, SC.
His smile is an image filed in our memory, though we can never touch his hands, his spirit has land, with our Heavenly Father. He had no care or bother. If he was he here he would, say “don’t worry about me, I will be alright. “ “I am free.” I followed the path God laid for me.” I am happy and pain free. Please don’t cry for me, I know my parting has left a void, I challenge you to fill it with remembered joy. May sure you sing and dance celebrating my life on earth, For I am now dancing and singing with the angels in heaven.
