Mr. Jesse Richardson

Mr. Jesse Richardson was born on August 4, 1941, to the late Jesse Richardson and Ethel Mae
Mender Richardson Jones. On February 14, 2025, Jesse Richardson transitioned from this life to
enter into his eternal home in Heaven.
Jesse was educated in Richland County. Upon leaving school, he joined the United States Army.
After his tenure in the military, he was employed with the Ben Arnold Company. His last place
of employment was with the City of Columbia.
Jesse began his Christian Walk at First Nazareth Baptist Church and was baptized on his birthday
in 2002. He attended church faithfully and regularly until his health declined.
In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Richardson;
his brother, Tommy Richardson; and his sister, Carolyn Jones.
Jesse leaves to cherish his memories with his daughters, Rose Hodges, Corlis Saunders and
Brenda (Lennis) Tillman; special grandchildren, Natalie Douglas, Brandon Wilson, Krystal
Adderly, Ruben Tillman and Amber Powell; fifteen great grandchildren; his sister, Mildred
McMillian; his uncle, William (Dorothy) Mender; a special cousin, Emma Walker; a bonus son,
Tim Bush; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
