Mr. Jeffery Raynard Jamison

Jeffery Raynard Marcel Jamison was born on January 24, 1987 in Columbia, South Carolina to Stephenie Maria Jamison-Barrett and Jeffery Rodney Saulter. He departed this earthly journey on January 2, 2021.

Jeffery was baptized at the age of thirteen at Christian Life Church by Pastor Stephen Chitty.

Jeffery was educated in the public schools of Richland County and was a graduate of W.J. Keenan High School. At the age of fourteen, Jeffery trained and worked with his uncle, Michael Jamison, in the HVAC field. After graduating from high school, he attended Midlands Technical College where he earned his HVAC certification. In 2015, he was employed with the South Carolina Department of Administration. He later moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he was employed as a state worker at the UF Health Shands Hospital until his untimely passing.

Jeffery was united in holy matrimony on June 29, 2013 to the former Ashley Bryant. He dedicated his life to his children and loved ones. He was very outgoing and fun to be around. He was known for his constant smiling and brought positive energy into any room he entered. He was a caring husband and father.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Emma Jean Johnson; paternal grandmother, Lena Bell Saulter; and paternal grandfather, Jacob Saulter.

Jeffery leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife, Ashley Jamison; six children, Jae’da Jamison, Jae’Dyn Jamison, Nehemiah Jones, Mekhi Jamison, Carter Jamison, and Lauren Jamison; mother, Stephenie (Howard) Barrett; father, Jeffery Rodney Saulter; siblings, Gerald Jamison, Joshua Plange, Caleb Plange, Charles Plange, De’Sean (Alexis) Saulter, Brian Saulter, James Nelson, Shari James, Danielle James, Tiara Saulter, and Samiyah Nelson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
