Mr. Damon Holmes

Master Sergeant Damon Antonio Holmes was born June 10, 19.
in Columbia, South Carolina to Veronica Holmes.

MSG Damon received a formal education in Richland County School
District 1. Upon graduating from Lower Richland High School in
2000, Damon then enlisted into the United States Army in 2007,
where he served until his untimely demise. While in the Army Damor
obtained a bachelor's degree in legal studies from America
Military University in 2016. Damon made the best of his time in the
US Army Completing courses such as Airborne Jump School in 2007,
Senior Leaders Course, United States Army Sergeant Major
Academy, just to name a few. His hard work did not go unrecognized,
Damon received a series of awards and recognitions, Defense
Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, 3
Army Commendation Medals and Driver/Mechanic Badge.

Damon was United in holy matrimony to Raven Richardson on July
27, 2018.

Aside from his army life Damon was a very meticulous, patient, loyal
and protective individual who paid superior attention to detail.
Damon was a major sports fanatic, pinpointing The Dallas Cowboys
and all things basketball, especially Michael Jordan. He was also a
lover of finances.

On May 30, 2025, Master Sergeant Damon Antonio Holmes took rest
from his hard work and labor, and entered into the arms of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.

Preceding Damon in Death is his grandmother Betty Jean Holme
and his sister Shakila L. Holmes.

Damon leaves to Cherish his fondest memories, his wife Raven K.
Holmes of Columbia, SC; Children Ashleigh, Damon, Dylan, Noah,
and Grace Holmes, All of Columbia, SC; Mother Veronica Holmes of
Columbia, SC; Siblings Lakila Holmes of Glendale, AZ, Joseph
Brunson (Stacie) of Hopkins, SC, Earl Holness and Karla Holness of
Orange Park, GA, and Andrew Jones of Columbia, SC ; Aunt Burka
Latonya (Kenny) Holmes; Uncles Kenneth Jackson, Carl Holmes and
Rodney Mane Holmes and a host of nieces, nephews other loving
relatives, and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
