Mr. Anthony Pierson

When It Started
Anthony Tyrrell Pierson was born on March 2, 1984, to Latrice Pierson and Anthony Cuington.

When It Blossomed
Anthony was educated in many schools ranging from stateside schooling to schools abroad including Germany. He was a proud graduate of Lathrop High School in Fairbanks, Alaska, Class of 2002. After completing high school, Anthony furthered his education at Midlands College. At an early age, Anthony began to show his dedication to the Lord. In May of 2000, Anthony chose to become a member of A.M.E Alaska where he participated in the Youth Choice. He quickly found a love for praise and worship and there he became the lead psalmist of the youth choir.

Anthony enjoyed planning camping trips, entertaining parties, traveling, and most of all cooking for family and friends. He was able to travel and experience the world with those he loved. He lived a life of joy and happiness. His kindness had no boundaries for those he loved as well as strangers. Wise beyond his years, he was often sought after for advice and direction in matters of the heart. Known for his love of cooking, Anthony would often help others by meal prepping and encouraging those around him with the newest healthcare coaching. He was known to some as “AP”, and “Big Baby” to others and he possessed a remarkable gift for songs.

Anthony was preceded in death by his aunt, Pastor Marqui Bozeman.

His Legacy Lives On
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Latrice Armstrong; fathers, James “Pops” Armstrong and Anthony Cuington; sister, Analise Cuington; brothers, Jimme’ Armstrong, Cameron Armstrong, and Christopher Cuington; grandparents, Patricia Pierson, Mary Armstrong, Phyliss Cuington Wier and Terry Wier; great-grandmother, Betty Jean Smith; aunts, Delora Cuington Holland, LaDonna Armstrong, and Pamela Smith; uncles, Robert Ray Pierson, Germaine Pierson, and Robert Ray Tanner, Jr.; niece, Nova Sanai Armstrong; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
