Abhishek Chandekar was a loving husband, a devoted father and godfather, and a proud retired United States Air Force veteran whose greatest mission in life was taking care of the people he loved. He passed away on December 25, 2025, leaving behind a family who meant everything to him and a home filled with memories of his steady presence and quiet strength.
Those who knew him understood that his love was constant and dependable. As a husband, he was protective and deeply caring. As a father, he was patient, supportive, and always present—whether through guidance, laughter, or simply being someone you could count on no matter what.
He found peace in the simple things that made life feel right. Cooking was one of those things—a way for him to relax, find comfort, and show love without needing many words. The kitchen was often where he felt most at ease, and he took great pride in being the one whose home everyone wanted to come to for a meal.
He also loved getting off the pavement and into the outdoors. Off-roading was one of his favorite ways to unwind, whether in his old Land Rover or his Lexus, he found joy in the challenge, the adventure, and the quiet freedom of the trail.
Movies were another joy in his life. He loved The Mummy, Jurassic Park III, any Marvel movie ever made, and just about any scary movie he could find. Movie nights were a favorite way for him to relax and enjoy time with those he loved.
His service in the United States Air Force shaped the man he became, instilling values of dedication, responsibility, and honor that he carried with him every day. Beyond the uniform, he will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the deep sense of safety he gave to those closest to him.
Though his absence is deeply felt, his love remains—in the meals he cooked, the trails he explored, the movies he enjoyed, and the life he built with his family. His legacy lives on through the people he loved most.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Chandekar; his daughter, Astrid Chandekar; his parents, Enoch and Sheela Chandekar; his sister, Preeti Chandekar; and many extended family members and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
