Frank E. Mack, Sr. was born on July 16, 1932, in Blythewood, South Carolina to the late Pearl Durham. He departed this earthly journey on November 22, 2021.
Deacon Mack was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He was employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and retired as a machine operator.
Deacon Mack enjoyed fishing, gardening, singing, and above all else, serving the Lord. Those who had the benefit of knowing Deacon Mack knew just how big his heart was for his children, church, family, and his community. He was a dedicated and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board, the Jubilee Choir, and committed to over 50 years of tirelessly faithful service as a Deacon.
In addition to his mother, Deacon Mack was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Mack; and sons, Gregory Dixon, Herbert Dixon, and Frank Mack, Jr.
Left behind to cherish a plethora of loving memories are his beloved wife, Sally Mack; four sons, Charles Mack, Raleigh Lyles, Clyde Lyles, and Willie Goins, Jr.; seven daughters, Brenda Mack-Foxworth, Roxanne Mack, Patricia Lyles, Christine (Charles) Robinson, Etta (Sylvester) Bright, Ronetta (Eddie) Pringle, and Sonya Goins; one sister, Mary Bell; one sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas; 22 grandchildren, special friends Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Green; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
