Condolences and prayers for my family in the lost of your dear mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
When we met it was like we've known each other for ages - This speaks to Barbara's warm, friendly, and loving demeanor. I'm praying for your peace during this time - stick close together and lean on one another to make it through. Love you all.

To the family of Barbara A. Gordon, I offer my sincerest condolences. Enduring the loss of a loved one in death can take its toll. However, 2 Peter 2:9 gives the assurance, God "knows how to rescue...out of trial". May the hopeful words He has promised at Isaiah 25:8 provide you escape during this most trying time.

Mr. Gordon,
I am very sorry about your dear wife. Please accept my sincerest condolences and some words of encouragement from God's Word, the Bible.
Our loving God and Creator Jehovah did not intend for us to die, so he promises to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (Psalms 83:18; John 5:28,29; 11:38-44) Knowing you will see dear Barbara again will hopefully bring you some solace during your hour of bereavement. I will also include you in my prayers.

I can't believe you're gone cousin. You and I are 20 years apart so I never got to know you as well as I liked until last year at Uncle James' graduation. I was so intrigued by your fun, spunky, living life to the fullest soul. You lived a great life in this short period of time, and you are well loved and greatly missed by many. Fly high, free of pain, and joined with our ancestors. I love you cuz💔

It's sad that the world has lost a beatiful vet., wonderful mother, wife, and true friend to many. I known Barbara since we went to Diggs-Johnson junior high school. She and my sister Lenette bonded immediately and were driens/sisters to the end. They shared many special times and years as sisters. May you all treasure the memories you formed together over the year(s). Think of often while keeping her memories in the forefront during this challenging times and long after the day passes. The world has truly lost an Angel. I cried cause I am going to miss knowing you are with us. However, I found comfort knowing you done all that God required of you. Barbara done things for people that only an Angel would do. I am glad I got to know such a wonderful human being. It was her spirit all the time. The Best Neighbor Ever. I tried to stay in my home because of you.

What can I say about one of the most important people whose has ever graced my life? Barbara, you have always been there, in my life and being a momma lioness. Always caring about me and the kids and everyone else. You are the rarest of rare jewels...one that a person comes across once in a lifetime. You were my mother, sista and best friend. You will ALWAYS be in my heart and will never be forgotten. I know you are with Ms. Turner, your dad and the rest of your family. You were truly an Angel on earth, now you're one in heaven. I love you dearly Momma and I'm going to miss you so much.
To Joe, Julius, Joann and the rest of the family...you have my deepest sympathies. May God keep you in his loving arms. Love you all.
Love,
Wendy

There are very few words to describe how heartbroken I am at losing not only a mentor but also a friend and someone who was always family to me, my sister Toni, my late father Clifford and most importantly my mother Wendy. Ms. Barbara was always looking out for my sister and I growing up. Living right down the road she was never far if we needed any advice or any care. Before her passing, I visited her house to give her a bouquet of flowers with a vase that said "You are my Sunshine", it's only fitting seeing as how there were never any cloudy days with her. She was always the light of everyone's life and I wish I could've said I love you one last time. You'll be missed by every heart and soul you've touched Ms. Barbara, we all love you
