Sharwon Lupino Frazier was born on March 14, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Lawrence and Willa C. Frazier. She departed this earthly journey on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
Sharwon, affectionately known to family and friends as “Peaches”, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. She was most recently employed by the Ramada Inn Hotel where she worked as a housekeeper. She retired early due to her illness, scleroderma.
“Peaches” accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized as an adult at age 56. She was an active member of Second Nazareth Baptist Church where she served as a member of the Senior Ushers Ministry as well as the Capital City Usher Board Union. She continued to worship the Lord faithfully until her last breath.
“Peaches” was the eldest of four sisters and five brothers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. To know her was to love her and become a recipient of her kindness, generosity, sincerity and genuine love. She never met a stranger and would welcome anyone with love and open arms.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Willa C. Frazier; three brothers, Lawrence Hampton, Hosea Hampton, and Antwan Hampton.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her daughter, Shannon Frazier of Columbia, SC; two sons, Derrick and Dontae Frazier of Columbia, SC; four grandsons, Kensell McCants, Kaleb and RJ Frazier, and Kaden Hartgrove; two brothers, Andre (Kenyatta) Frazier of Columbia, SC and Ken (Nequila) Frazier of Greenwood, SC; four sisters, Elsie Frazier, Faith (Mitchell) House, Lafayette (John) Young, and Karneida (Curtis) Rickard, all of Columbia, SC; one aunt, Johnny Mae Chisolm of Columbia, SC, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
