Ms. Mary L. McNeil

Mary McNeil was born on July 22, 1949 to the late James Hare, Sr. and Jeanette Worthy in Newberry, South Carolina. Her journey came to an end on August 17, 2019 at the age of 70.

Mary attended Cedar Springs Schools in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mary was a member of The National Federation of the Blind and the SC Commission for the Blind.

Mary was friendly, caring, a mother to everyone, and bossy at the same time. She loved shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by daughter, Tabitha Stinette McNeil; one sister, one step-brother, and her companion of thirty years.

Those left to cherish precious memories is her son, Terrainio McNeil; 6 sisters, Martha Coleman, Gail Nelson, Ritta Hare, Laverne Simmons, Sheila Pringle, and Tonya Hare; two step-sisters, Valerie Haywood and Jacqueline Mayo; step-brother, Timothy Mayo; 8 grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.
