Ms. Marie Davis

Marie Davis was born on December 13, 1938 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Olean Williams and Horace Davis.  She was the youngest and the last surviving of 4 children.  She departed this earthly journey on February 17, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland. 

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Olean Williams and Horace Davis; her brothers, Willie Williams and Walter Morris; and her sister, Josephine Morris Harrison. 

Marie leaves to cherish her precious memories her, daughters, Delores (Brady) Davis Hook and Jo Ann Davis both of Columbia, SC; adopted children, Rosalyn (Shannon) Scott, Christopher, Cleveland Jr., and Judy Morris of Columbia, SC and Tametris Morris of Washington, DC; nephew raised in home, Cleveland Morris, Sr. of Columbia, SC; niece raised in home, Judy (Melvin) Coakley, of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Marquis Davis, Sr. and Sholanda Hook of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren Marquis Davis, Jr., ShaKayla Jenkins, and Zyan Corbitt, all of Columbia, SC; special daughters, Michelle Corbitt and Vanessa Blanding Neumann, both of Columbia, SC; special friends, Rosa Ann Thompson and Alberta Howard, both of Columbia, SC; along with a host of loving family and friends.
