I wish to express my deepest sympathies to the Green family. I too know the feeling of losing someone so dear to my heart. I wish to share with you what has helped me cope during this time. It is the comforting words stated by our Lord Jesus when he said that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29) Remember Jesus' beloved friend Lazarus. He lay sleeping in the grave for four days. But when Jesus called out to him he came out, alive. (John 11:38-44) This is what our heavenly father Jehovah, and his son Jesus, desire for all our loved ones. Soon they will bring our loved ones back to us to live in a beautiful, peaceful world free from all problems. (Psalm 37:10,11,29) This is what I look forward to and I do hope these scriptures will be of comfort to you as they are to me.

I want to offer my condolences to the Green family. Hebrews 4:15 says, “ For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tested in all respects as we have, but without sin.” Yes, Jesus endured sufferings when on earth, including the pain of losing a love one (John 11: 33, 35, 38). It has been promised from our God of comfort that sickness, pain, and death will be removed ((Isaiah 33:24; 1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:4,5). An additional promise given is that all our loved ones in the memorial tombs will be awaken from asleep in death to enjoy life as our loving Creator purposed (Isaiah 26:19; Psalms 145:16). Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

I am sorry to learn of the death of your beloved family member. Jehovah God made a promise to us all at Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
