Ms. Georgianna Lewis

Georgianna Lewis was born on September 30, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred Jack and Anniebell Lewis. She departed this earthly life on July 31, 2019 and Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Georgianna grew up in the State Park Community and was educated in the public schools of Richland County. She was a graduate of C. A. Johnson High School.

She was a faithful Christian and a member of Ecclesia Church of God In Christ. She loved singing the songs of Zion and was a former member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. There she served faithfully on the senior choir.

Georgianna was preceded in death by her brothers, Hosa Dunlap, Randolph Lewis, and Alfred Lewis, Jr.; and sisters Julia Dunlap, Queen Esther Moore and Geneva Lewis.

Georgianna leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughter, Bonnie Lewis; one brother, Alexander Lewis; four sisters, Mamie Grant, Willie Mae Jones, Annie Bell (Vernon) Hayes and Matilda Bostick; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Lewis and Malik Lewis; one aunt, Maryanne Gripper; a godson, Zachary Brazzle; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss her dearly but rejoice that she is now resting with the Lord.
