Ms. Anita Louise Eubanks Stocker

Ms. Anita Louise Eubanks Stocker was born on May 19, 1967 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Rebecca Eubanks and Melvin Eubanks Sr. She departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2017.

Anita graduated from A.C. Flora High School, class of 1985 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was also a 2002 graduate of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Anita received her BSN in 2002. She worked for various hospitals and doctor’s offices in South Carolina and Georgia. She was currently employed with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of SC until her death.

Over the years as a Registered Nurse (BSN) she touched and encouraged so many lives. Her affectionate smile and words of wisdom will be cherished and missed by many of her friends, co-workers and relatives. Many remember her for the way she would give guidance and counsel on any area of life. Many looked up to her and will miss her so much.

Anita served at and was a member of The Brook in Columbia, South Carolina. Anita was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Anita Louise Eubanks Stocker leaves to cherish her legacy of love to: her mother, Rebecca Eubanks; her father, Melvin Eubanks Sr.; her stepmother, Martha Eubanks; daughter, Venitra “Precious” (Tony, fiancé) Stocker; two brothers, Melvin Eubanks Jr. (Sabrina) and Terry Gainous; sisters, Jessica Eubanks and Kia Gainous; four grandchildren, Toni Brennen Grant of Columbia, SC, Talaiyah, Ontonio Jr., and Omari of Sumter, SC; and best friends Marie “Rita” Warner-Smith (Randal) of Tampa Florida and Voncea Golston of Columbia, SC; two god sons, Randall and Jalen; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
