Rest in peace Mrs. Smith. I will always have fond memories of your kindness and love for me while growing up with my dear friend Dorothy. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. With love. Carlotta and Charles Porterfield, Brett and Liza.

I met Mrs. Smith on Feb. in 1999 when I moved on Wilkes Road as her neighbor. She came to my door, introduced herself, and welcomed us to the neighborhood. She said if you need me for anything just let me know. She was beautiful inside and out! My youngest daughter fell for her instantly. She looked up to her as a grandmother. She will be missed dearly from the Greenview neighborhood. She never met a stranger. Get your well deserved rest over that where everyday will be like Sunday. Over ther where they tell me that the gates are pearly and the streets are paved with gold! My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family. Mrs Smith was a Good woman!

It saddens us to know that when we take our many trips to Columbia, our dear aunt will not be there to greet us. On the other hand, I am pleased to know that she has completed her work down here and is now reaping her rewards in Heaven.
Family, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 30:5) KJV.
