Mr. Parrish Deon Delk

Parrish Deon Delk was born on March 8, 1989 in Columbia, South Carolina. He departed his earthly journey to be with the Lord on December 29, 2019.

Parrish attended the public schools of Richland County.

Parrish gave his life to the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Goodwill Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending church with his sisters and brothers. He was very attentive and could always be found trying to mimic the deacons’ prayers. He and his brothers would pray like the deacons after services.

Parrish was always a happy child growing up. He had a pleasant personality and was not a stranger to anyone he met. He loved all of his family and had a very special love for his niece, Aryah. Parrish enjoyed spending time playing basketball and video games with his brothers and sisters. He was a die hard Lebron James fan and wasn’t afraid to show off his dance moves to anyone he met.

Parrish was preceded in death by his sister, Monique Delk.

Parrish leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving parents, Mose and Joyce Delk; five brothers, Jamal, Ryan and Brandon Delk, all of Eastover, SC, Tyrone and Eugene Mixon, of Columbia, SC.;  seven sisters, Erika Delk-Howell and Olivia Delk, both of Eastover, SC, Shatavia Wilson, Alexandria Bouttry, Santana Watson, Keisha Sledge and Latoya Ford all of Columbia, SC; three nieces, Ariel Delk and Aryah Howell both of Eastover, SC, and Autumn Delk of Columbia, SC; two nephews, Erin Delk and Caleb Delk, both of Eastover, SC; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
