My condolences to the family in the loss of your beloved family member. It is very difficult when a loved one fall asleep in death. But the Bible provides comfort to help you cope with your loss. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. He also expresses a wonderful hope for the future to reunite you and your loved one. At Hosea 13:14 it says: From the power of the grave I (God) will redeem them; From death I will recover them. This wonderful promise from our loving heavenly father can encourage and strengthen you as you look forward to seeing your loved one again. My condolences to the Brown/ Banks family on the loss of your loved one, I remember Mr Otis growing up in the Washington Carver Village neighborhood he would always greet the kids with a smile encouraging us to stay in school and always maintain a since of respect for your elders, may he sleep in peace!
